    Let the Smith Creek Inn be your Alleghany Highlands home away from home!  The Inn has one ground floor double room.  Upstairs are a two room family suite (double plus twin trundle beds), a queen, and a double.  Two full baths (one ground floor, one upstairs with claw foot tub),  fully equipped kitchen for guests' use, library/sitting room, dining room and big front porch welcome you to relax and enjoy yourself.  We're air-conditioned with free wi-fi and cable TV in each bedroom.  Overnights and work- or education-related extended stays are welcome. Reservations are required.   Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets or smoking. We are located on the banks of Smith Creek,  within a few blocks of downtown Clifton Forge's Masonic Ampitheatre, Clifton Forge School of the Arts,  Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center and the C&O Railway Heritage Center.   We are the closest town to Dabney Lancaster Community College (@ 2 miles) and Douthat State Park (@ 5 miles).
